Menlo Park, CA
This 20,000 square foot, two-story office building was designed to support the LCLS project. We are awaiting a gold LEED rating under the NCv2.2 rating system with an energy design 30% below ASHRAE 2004-90.1. Energy efficient light fixtures and a combination of occupancy sensor and daylight harvesting controls are an integral part of the building’s efficient design. The project is using the latest technology for energy modeling to better understand how to improve the overall performance of the building, and to most cost-effectively achieve a higher level of efficiency.
