The San Jose Convention Center is a two-story, 570,000 square foot project consisting of a 440,000 square foot renovation and 130,000 square feet of expansion.
The San Jose Convention Center is a design / build project including Fire Alarm and Security Systems. This project presented many challenges from working in an operating convention center to replacing the existing fire alarm and security system in the existing convention center while keeping the existing systems operational in the building.
The Fire Alarm and Access Control / CCTV systems were designed with new networked site wide systems. REG successfully installed / commissioned the new systems meeting a very aggressive schedule and overcoming many issues through the commissioning process.
