The LPCH project is a 5–story hospital with a rooftop data center. Redwood Electric Group – Technology Division installed the Voice / Data, Nurse Call, Security, Audio Visual, and DAS systems. Due to the magnitude and scope of this project there have been many challenges we had to face, including constructability issues involving the coordination between other trades and the Engineer of Record to keep moving forward. This was not a simple Plans & Spec’s project; a lot of manpower was utilized detailing months before we actually built anything. REG had full time, on site detailers and modelers to ensure we had all drawings and information correct before it made it into the field for construction.
The new Hospital was also designed to meet state seismic safety standards including the approval of all State of California OSHPD requirements for healthcare facilities.
